Ok, so there are plenty of elements of 2020 that didn’t quite play out like we expected. Global pandemic. Industry shutdowns. Mass home schooling. Travel restrictions. It’s been tough out there. But it’s also been a year that has challenged our beliefs around what it means to go to work. It’s pushed us to embrace remote working on a scale that we could only have imagined before and made us think about what’s really important to us as individuals and organizations.

For MSP providers, it’s meant stepping up fast. Offering expert guidance and support under the toughest timescales imaginable. From implementing large scale remote working to rolling out new onsite safety and hygiene practices.

Some industries have shrunk while others have seen huge increases in demand. Online retailers, delivery services, and pharma companies have seen an explosion in workloads as we all come to terms with this new world order. This unexpected shift has created hiring challenges for organizations everywhere.

Work with heart

The last few months have shown us that work is more than work. It’s a community. Fulltime or contingent, compassionate leadership needs to stay at the center of how we manage our talent. We’ve been working with our MSP customers to help them create compassionate workplaces that support flexible work and recognize the challenges that many of us are facing at home – from homeschooling to caring for family members.

Hiring in the age of Covid-19

We’ve also developed new ways of working to ensure that our clients can keep on doing what they do. From rolling out completely virtual hiring to delivering remote working equipment and changing the ways we connect with our stakeholders around the globe. It’s been a challenging but rewarding process, as we’ve developed fresh solutions to brand-new challenges.
